Memory File Storage
The file system is an important feature of the operating system. It manages the computer's file system and is responsible for creating, editing, and deleting the computer's documents. It helps to manage files into directories and file folders as well as organize them according to user type and user preference. Some operating systems require a specific naming system for the files and directories and only allow certain characters to be used as the name. Filing systems assists in searching and modifying data within the file system. There are various directors and structures to hold multiple types of files and data.
